Pacific Foundation for Medical Care supports non-profit, health related projects that enhance the availability or quality of health services in communities. Since 1993, PFMC has provided more than $1.4 million in grant awards to 75 different organizations and programs in the North San Francisco Bay Area and San Diego County.
In Fall 2017, PFMC awarded a total of $35,000 to the following recipients:
Champions for Health (former name Project Access San Diego) – San Diego County
For support of Project Access operational costs. PASD provides preventive programs, donated specialty care consultations, imaging and surgeries to uninsured adults in San Diego County.
CTE Foundation – Sonoma County
To help fund costs for the Health Careers Academy program delivery and enhancements that leverage learnings and achievements to strengthen program outcomes and increase sustainability.
North County Health Services – San Diego County
To help fund programs to improve health outcomes for underserved patients through greater access to healthcare.
SCMAA Health Career Scholarship
Challenge grant toward scholarships for students pursuing an education in a health related field.
United Cerebral Palsy of the North Bay – Sonoma County
To help fund a portion of the multidisciplinary team of Occupational and Speech therapists and interns that will work during the year round activities.
