Pacific Foundation for Medical Care supports non-profit, health related projects that enhance the availability or quality of health services in communities. Since 1993, PFMC has provided more than $1.4 million in grant awards to 75 different organizations and programs in the North San Francisco Bay Area and San Diego County.
In Fall 2018, PFMC awarded a total of $25,000 to the following recipients:
Champions for Health (former name Project Access San Diego) – San Diego County
For support ongoing specialty healthcare and community wellness services including preventive programs, donated specialty care consultations, imaging and surgeries to uninsured and underinsured in San Diego County..
CTE Foundation – Sonoma County
To help support the Health Careers Academy Program Coordinator which supports program expansion, work-based learning coordination and student support needs.
SCMAA Health Career Scholarship – Sonoma County
Challenge grant toward scholarships for students pursuing an education in a health related field.
