Pacific Foundation for Medical Care supports non-profit, health related projects that enhance the availability or quality of health services in communities. Since 1993, PFMC has provided more than $1.4 million in grant awards to 75 different organizations and programs in the North San Francisco Bay Area and San Diego County
In Fall 2022, PFMC awarded a total of $85,000 to the following recipients:
Alzheimer’s San Diego – San Diego County
To ensure individuals in the Hispanic/Latinx communities receive culturally relevant knowledge, resources, and informative materials to plan for their futures with dementia.
Champions for Health – San Diego County
To support ongoing specialty healthcare and community wellness services to San Diego County’s uninsured low-income residents that have very limited access to health services and preventive health care.
CTE Foundation – Sonoma County
To provide program support for career-connected learning for high school students in Sonoma County. Funding will support expansion of the programs and increase student engagement with hands-on technical education learning opportunities through high-quality education-to-career experiences.
Maitri Compassionate Care – San Francisco County
To support the BRANCH Aftercare Program providing compassionate care to low-income people living with HIV/AIDS in San Francisco. The program offers exiting patients continued psychosocial, mental health, medical and nutritional support to safeguard their transition toward independent life.
